BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
This qualification is suitable for people working in a Work Health and Safety (WHS) role who provide leadership and guidance to others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.
The qualification applies to those working as supervisors, WHS personnel, and workers in other WHS-related roles who manage risks effectively, apply relevant WHS laws, and contribute to WHS within the workplace in known or changing contexts with established parameters.
Participants will develop the skills to influence the health and safety culture to achieve the organisation’s safety goals. They will develop a tool kit of skills that will give them the confidence to undertake safety inspections, examine safety practices, undertake risk assessments, actively contribute to consultation opportunities and monitor the health of their team or work colleagues.
