Public_IA Public - Internal Audit
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to conduct an internal audit of a documented program. This course will give participants the tools to perform an internal audit of the quality system under which they work.

DURATION:  2 consecutive 1 day online face to face workshops using Microsoft Teams‚ listed below, and completion of an onsite audit. All training and assessment is expected to be completed within a 3 week period.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT: A Language, Literacy and Numeracy diagnostic tool (Skills Check) must be completed and submitted at least five (5) days before the workshop date.

Introduction:
Participants will undertake 2 online face to face workshops using Microsoft teams prior to applying learning on the job. An audit of one section of the participants company quality system will be completed as a project.

Please note: If enrolments for this course do not meet the minimum required (5), bookings will be automatically transferred to the next available course. Notification will be given 10 days before the initial course date.

Target Audience:
This unit applies to Plant Managers, Quality Assurance personnel and managers who have a role in scheduling, preparing for and conducting an internal audit in a meat processing plant.

Learning Methods:
This course will be delivered by a highly skilled, industry experienced‚ qualified and industry-current facilitator.
All course materials, including specialised resources and assessments, will be provided 7 days prior to the commencement of the course.

The learning and assessment activity will include:
  • 2 x 1 day online face to face training session using Microsoft Teams 
  • quizzes and activities completed during the sessions
  • resources for you to refer to  back in your own workplace prior to the final assessment.
Assessment will include:
  • Question and Answer quizzes (completed in the virtual session)
  • Workplace project   
  • Supervisor Report completed by your direct supervisor.
